Virtual Book Clubs
We have several book clubs available for you to join and connect with like-minded readers. We chose the BOOKCLUBS app to help make it easy for everyone to meet and chat no matter how busy your schedule.
AVAILABLE CLUBS
- Langdon Fiction Fans - a club for well rounded readers, this group will read a variety of books in many genres.
- Langdon Romantasy Readers - Love a good tongue-twisting name and some spice? Get it all right here!
- Langdon Manga Madness - This teen club is sure to get the Manga and Anime obsessed readers excited to discuss their favourites with friends!
- Langdon Business Minds - Is non-fiction more your speed? This club will help you jumpstart your productivity with business and other non-fiction titles.
- Langdon History Buffs - Do you love a deep dive into the past?
- Langdon Thrill Seekers - We know Langdon loves its thrillers and mysteries (our checkouts prove that). Join a group that looks for books that get the adrenalin pumping!
If none of these speak to you - why not suggest a new club and we will happily set it up! These are just a few to get us started!

and use and apps are available for both Apple and Android users. They also have a website if you prefer to join from your laptop.
JUST A FEW RULES
These virtual clubs are run by Langdon Community Library in Langdon, Alberta and are open to anyone looking to join. If there is interest by the group, an in-person meetup can always be arranged during Library hours.
A few rules:
- Keep it clean - we want this to be a fun experience for everyone and inappropriate language can taint the experience for some.
- Please be respectful - we all bring different lived experiences to the table. Please be mindful of topics relating to personal religion, political affiliation, and sexuality unless they directly relate to the book we are reading.
- Stay on topic - this is a book club meant to bring like-minded readers together.
